Your traditional no compromise DI is to scan you film at 4k or 2k log DPX files. The difference from this workflow is compression and Resolution. DPX files are uncompressed and can be at any resolution. HDCAM SR is RGB and Compressed a little but allows you to transfer in real time. The same is true with ProRess 444. Our conform and color grading process is not any different than any of the all digital workflow we use. A Log transfer to HDCAM SR or ProRess 444 will provide a significant time and money savings.
